Each year, Oxford consistently ranks among the best universities in the world. If you want to have a chance to visit these famous university colleges, then plan your visit during the summer months when it is not so crowded and admission fees are much lower. It may be less well-known that you’re able to tour different college campuses from June until October for just a few pounds on selected days! What you will find behind these closed doors is quite breath taking, a world of peace, with secluded beautiful gardens.

Oxford has a ton of history that is waiting to be explored! You can either walk the city on foot, which I highly recommend, or hop on one of their sightseeing tour buses. The main circuit in the City Centre goes from Broad Street round towards Magdalen College at the other end, and it’s only 30 minutes long. The university buildings date back as far as the 12th Century, with many more centuries worth exploring.Oxford Universities open doors during summer time

You can find some nice restaurants or coffee spots if you’re patient enough, though—make your way over to The Turf Tavern for an authentic English experience!Oxford old town
