The Royal Pavilion

The Royal Pavilion is one of Brighton’s most prominent landmarks; you can’t miss it! It was built as a seaside residence for King George the Fourth, mixing various Indian, Chinese, and Regency styles. The Palace Pier

The Palace Pier is a grade II listed building that opened in 1899. The third one was built after the Chain and West pier, but it’s also the only one left running! You can still see what remains of the West Pier, which has since been closed down due to dereliction in 1975. The last time this landmark suffered major damage was during a 2020 storm when a section collapsed from structural pressure.
